moving onions

While making a few raised beds I have just realised I have made a significant measuring error and I have planted my onions (in November) where I wanted a path to be.
Does anyone know if it would be ok to transplant the onions and if so when/how.
At the moment they are 4 - 6" high.

Yes they should move ok if you do it gently. Lift them with a fork, and be careful not to damage the roots when replanting. The worst that can happen is that they will be checked. Good luck.
