Celery at last
« on: January 09, 2006, 18:29:38 »
Sorry I took so long Tim, but here is a piccy of my celery taken today.  Considering we have had snow and lots of hard frosts, I think they are looking great!  They might be a bit tatty now, not great for a salad, but I am making minestrone tomorrow and think this bunch will do just fine!  ;D

Hmm pass the salt. The picture of the plot looks kind of spooky EJ.

I took that piccy of the plot when I first arrived, just before 9am.  The site was still misty and there was a think dew on the ground.  It would have been very spooky on site today as the mist didn't life, if it hadn't been for 30 builders working at the cottage next to the site underpinning it!!  Between the generators, drills, cement mixers and general builder chit chat, I could just make out the quacking of the ducks in the lake!  ;D
