Hi Tulip-23. Had a rare lay in until 9am. (dog is in kennels so no wake up call at 6.30am)  Today? Well the sun is trying to shine. Going next door to Lorna jnr. to help her prepare dinner, she has invited six of us (sorry I tell a fib,, 5of us plus the 3 of them, finger counting that makes 8!!) so once again will spend a little time with members of my family. Lovely!! She will have to wait a little longer I am at present listening to some music that John put on cd's for me. Best wishes, hope your head feels a little better.

Bladdered as usual for the first day of the year, but the party will carry on later after brekkie. As long as I'm sober by tuesday. Watched the London fireworks in the pub last night, I wished I was there. A really good show.

Well Happy New Year everyone..............................................Glyn you crack me up everytime.................Tulip I've just made the second very strong pot of coffee to aid recovery and we didn't even go out last night..............got 10 for sunday Lucnh today, it seemed a good idea at the time, not so sure now though!

Ace , you need some of my coffee ;)

Delilah. In actual fact I was quite the lady last night, only had a few. I didn't fall down once just wobbled now and then ;D. Did get to do my "chicken" dance once or twice!! I wish I had taken my video camera our host had me in hysterics with his dancing.

Hi

Another year...lets hope its a happy one.

After spending part of the night in a war zone I have spent a far more peaceful and enjoyable morning on the Lottie.
About half a dozen die hards were working merrily away, not a hangover in sight...sun was/is shining what a lovely start to the new year. Managed to clear another bed and dig it over...got rid of a load of twiggy material by lighting the first bonfire on the site for 2006

I can watch the hands on a clock go past twelve twice a day every day...much sooner be out and about.... I suppose that goes with me being a lark rather than an owl

Think we need to meet down the pub Wards!! Mine has brought his plane up, wants to paint it on the kitchen table... >:(  and with 4 kids now moved on to making rubber bouncy balls, thank you that friend (will get all hers jig saws and a drum set... 8).) am still hiding in conservatory... ;D
