Storing Wellies
« on: December 31, 2005, 14:57:17 »
My wife came up with an idea for storing wellies.
Don't throw your old 2 drawer chest away:-
Take the drawers out, prise the top off, attach a piece of wood along the inside runners to stop the wellies falling on the floor

Place wellies inside, replace top

Result: neatly stored wellies!

Oh No!  you've now caused a crash in the welly boot cap industry.

Is it me or are welly caps a plastic moulding to far????

Can she pop round and make a portable one for my car please Pete?  ;D  Very good by the way - inventive thinking outside the box.

A friend once asked me where I got my welly hanger from.  I couldn't understand what she was talking about then when she showed me I couldn't help but laugh.  The kids had slotted they into an empty wall manger just outside the kitchen door.  Looked great and that is where they lived all winter.  (just had to check inside for hiding beasties and slugs.)
Take time to stop and smell the flowers.

Thats really good creative thinking.
Indian build small fire, keep warm.
White man build big fire - keep warm chopping wood!
