Us, I think we will be in bed by 9 tonight. My darling was up all last night ill, along with daughter number one, and son number one has an incredibly sore throat and was moaning all night. Me, not 100%, but more exhausted after caring for my poorly clan!

Apart from the fact that the new year began on 22 December and the switch from 2005-2006 is an entirely artificial trick of the calendar all such dates ending in 05 or 2005 seem to have been completey sh*t unless they involved the allotment so I am quite looking forward to seeing the back of this calendar year and having a much better 2006 - and may it please hurry up because I am still having 2005 problems planning next term and with Mansfield away on Monday, that does not leave me much time.

Hubbie and I have bought masses amounts of M&S chinese for supper which, along with a bottle (or two) of something fizzy, will see us through possibly to midnight.

Dancing in the streets and kissing people you wouldn't normally swap names with, let alone saliva, doesn't appeal. Am leaving all that to eldest daughter now.... although not too much kissing I hope!! ;)

Would just like to add my best wishes to all the friends on A4A, thanks for sharing your knowledge and many laughs in 2005. This old girl is going to see the New Year in with some family at a friends party (got me bottle of brandy ready in handbag in case there is none there) so I won't be in bed at midnight.

Glyn that link is fab, just going to spend an hour sending it to my friends and family.

I'm quite happy to go along with December 22nd as new year too..............................I'm not a fan of new year, won't be going out and will probably be asleep until the fireworks wake me up......................what a total misery I am..........................................think I should adopt Baggys attitude..............BRING IT ON. ;)

Well my new years eve is starting in a frustrating manner. Managed to download a really nasty trojan thingy and my son is struggling to sort it. At the moment I am using my other son's computer as mine is not really usable at the moment. I hope I dont have to go for a complete reinstall ...

Wishing you all a very Happy New Year. Spent a busy Christmas, working and travelling to family (while suffering the dreaded lurgy, cough cough) Will be spending tonight quietly with youngest and niece. Having a lovely dinner, followed by copious amounts of red wine :P :P I can enjoy now I am on the road to recovery. :P :P

I'm going down the pub in a bit. Went to panto in pub last night and got a bit drunk so have been delicate all day but had to go to a kid's birthday party (oh gawd) I only drank tea with my meal. Have foolishly agreed to go to a party tonight and then afterwards to the pub but my sister pointed out that I said I was going to hers. I just want to get my head down and not open my eyes til 2006 zzzzzzzzz I will take camera to pub tonight and post pics tomorrow if suitable ;D
