We didn't get much after all that excitement, by this evening it's practically all melted away but I can hear it falling again outside so perhaps we'll wake to a lovely white countryside tomorrow.

There's supposed to be loads more, and it's snowing really heavily here now. Give you a chance to find your sledge, and we can have rerun tomorrow!!

On the case...though you could do the snow dance, of course.... tie a broom to your butt, put on all outdoor gear, big wellies, pine cone in your hat and shuffle up and down the street, chanting....." Ooohjyi  dimg  ooppoo" works every time....  :)

Snowed today, much to these little peoples delight.

But they used it all up.....then what do you know, it has been snowing all evening and looks like they will be back out in it tomorrow!

Hoorah!

Bah Humbug re: snow!!

I work as a support worker for the elderly and drive to their homes to sort out geriatric crises. Have just finished a late shift and here in Oldham the snow is a nightmare!!

Gritters have done their bit.....but only on bus routes, not the smaller roads, so have skidded and slid my way around the borough all evening!!

But if I was 6 or 7 years old I would LOVE it!!!

Yes, it is a nightmare for the elderly, I don't enjoy it that much either ! The snow angels look nice though ...

It's a nightmare in school as well; just class after class of overexcited kids, the odd idiot who thinks they can smuggle a snowball into a lesson and throw it when I'm looking the other way, etc. etc. What they never seem to realise is that I can watch an object fly through the air and work out exactly which desk it came from.

Robert That made me laugh. Years ago when my girls were little I would put them to bed and then I would hear one or two out of bed. I would call from OUTSIDE their closed bedroom door "Get back in to bed Alyson/Vickie" or who ever was guilty. They never found out for years that I would peep through the keyhole.

Sorry EJ I meant to say what a lovely pic of the children, they certainly look as if they are enjoying themselves.

Well.... I've done the snow dance.......unfortunately, the camera couldn't be found.... ;D Still bitterly cold, and beginning to cloud again, so I think the dance may have done the trick.....
Lovely pics, EJ.

Lovely photos EJ :) We got another sprinkling last night but only very lightly, but what a gorgeous day today is with such bright sunshine.
