Woke up to almost a blizzard here in Coventry, but it has stopped now, and the sky is blue, so digging for me a little later I think.

It's currently snowing up here at Castle Donington (next to East Midlands Airport).   I'm currently looking out of my office window watching the white stuff come down & praying I can get home when my shift finishes this afternoon.

We had about tem minutes' worth of snow just now. Yellow Petals, you should move to Cornwall; any snow at all is sufficient to stop work there. I remember the time we had about an eighth of an inch whole I was down there; everyone took the day off, and the plant at the top of the village had to close for the day. Most of the employees lived  in the village and management were furious, but there was nothing they could do about it.

73 degrees in the shade here in Yorkshire: sunny with a light breeze. Just popping out to pick some apricots...

Well I managed a couple of hours digging, in the snow at some times, but the ground was still workable. It was nice to get home then for some hot coffee ...

Only a light fall here but now it has turned colder, getting dark and snowing quite heavily. Thought I was going to have a quiet day on my own, lo and behold son John and Grandson Lee turned up and then middle daughter Alyson, her partner and three kids turned up. Goes without saying that Lorna & co from next door have been in and out all day. I JUST LOVE IT :)
