Chelsea Physic Gardens

Has anyone visited these gardens and if so, what did you think? To my shame I'd never heard of them until today, even though I work within walking distance.  ::) It certainly looks like a jewel from the website.  :)

Well, I was gonna ask anyone who has been when the best time to visit is, but I reckon June/July. Not open very often though so I'd have to take a Wednesday afternoon off. Oh, the hardship! ;)

It does indeed look a lovely place to visit.
I think I may try and persuade Rosebud to have a trip there with me in the spring/summer as London is just a 30 min train journey away for us.

Pah! I defy anyone to try and get Rosebud to take it easy >:( (I have to be careful, I do believe she's just logged in to A4A hehe)
Yes, have had a lovely Christmas, thank you. Just ambling about enjoying the peace and quiet today as I'm back to work tomorrow. Hope your Christmas was good too?

i can see the chelsea physic garden from my office window :)
it's a great place to visit, open wednesday and sunday pm. during chelsea flower show week, they are open every day. it's well worth going in the lunch hour if you can - the smells of the flowers and herbs in bloom is something else!
