feltham first peas already
« on: December 11, 2005, 15:02:26 »
I sowed some feltham first peas in my unheated polytunnel back in early october and they're happy flowering away and have started to produce what look like tiny pea pods. My question is, is this meant to happen so early? And do they need insect pollination?
thanks in advance

I believe they are self fertile.

they might well be but just discovered that my tiny nascent pea pods have rotted away and died. Anyone else experienced this?
