if you use http://www.allotments4all.co.uk/index.php as your start page, you have a little button in the top right corner, saying 'view unread posts' - this will show all unread posts at once. when you go into a thread, and then press 'back' on your browser, this thread will have disappeared from the list as you have now read it. it's jut s a filter basically.

I find it a bit too complicated for my mind ...
I just scroll down the boards and soon recognise the threads I do and don't want to read ...

hmm, then use the 'mark as read' button above the list of 'new' posts? works for me. otherwise, refresh browser window for the 'inbetween' times - mark as read will of course mark them all as read....
(do i make sense)

Baggy --I agee with you.
About 1 month ago, if you scrolled, down the Unread Posts and selected one to read ,then after reading hit `Back` on IE6, it deleted this Post only ,from Unread List and left the other Unread Posts for your perusal.
I know you can press Mark as Read, but it was better,  as above.I presume somebody, has altered the Software, any ideas on this please ,Webmaster ? ?

I have noticed subtle changes too, but thought they might have been due to my reinstalling windows and perhaps inadvertently altering some settings ...
