My new allotment
« on: December 06, 2005, 14:32:00 »
Thank you all for your warm welcome.

I went down to see my new allotment yesterday and apart from requiring some light weeding, it is perfect.

Will take husband down there this weekend and set him to work!!!

Better get some info though, I know nothing about growing anything apart from grass.   Should I be putting anything in now?

Hope the weather holds up.

Welcome Useless gardener, I think you will be looking to change your name rather soon !!! It is getting a bit late to plant stuff outside, unless you can set off some winter broad beans eg Aquadulce ... or garlic, that seems happy to settle in during milder spells. You will find plenty of guidance on crops at this time of year on other threads, just trawl about and you will soon find them.

Good luck!
