Oo lovely!

I have only ever seen them once. It was a female with her brood. They were crossing the road at the side of the lottie.

Is this what you saw Chris???   Its the stoat who has the black tipped tail and turns white during the winter.

Last year whilst out wi' dog I heard a squeal.  This was closely followed by a rabbit running across my path followed closely by a stoat.  I followed them and was able to witness a stoat catch and kill its prey.  Fascinating if a bit noisy.  Rabbits can make rabbit when nearing the end of their lives at the hands of a predator.
