In my old age, (did I hear someone say I'm there already  ;D ;D ) I fancy a three wheeler, instead of the car, with a trailer behind or a basket on the handle bars.  One to carry the tools and the other to carry the harvest.

I can just see it now, little old lady on a 3 wheeler !!!  Very environmentally friendly, if not a bit weird.  ;D  ;D

Excellent pictures Sammy, my plot is only accessible by foot, down some narrow paths, but it does make it rather secluded, so I am happy with that arrangement.

Perhaps a wind up radio to keep in the shed for next year... ?

Is that snow Sammy, or do you have a serious cocaine habit? ;)

I'm sure I've heard that the chap that invented the windup radio has also invented the windup laptop.  Is there no keeping the workplace out of the allotment.  ;)

It's my OH that comes up with snippets like that, so if I was wrong, I'd blame him.  Or it could have been one of my 'Senior moments' that we of a certain age use as an excuse.  I have to say I will not be taking one to the lottie.  A wind up radio perhaps but not a wind up laptop!!  ::)

I had tried a radio, but found I preferred the silence ...

I love silence too Derek or listening to birds.  If in the shed though potting up or tidying I put the wind-up radio on and dance away to any good records which might get played.  In my shed I can act as daft as I like  ;D

Speaking of shed.  I seem to have mislaid an opened can of camping gas.  Can't find it anywhere so wanted to check in the shed but it's snowing like hell  :(

The only time I listen to the radio is for significant news or sports events - for everything else there is listen again available through BBCi.
