Hullo there.  Perhaps you could tell us a bit more about your field of research - it sounds interesting.

Sorry, I don't have an allotment myself (back garden only), but I wish you best of luck.

Hi PakChoi.

Glad you're interested. I'm researching how objects are used for different purposes.  So especially objects that have been discarded and given a new lease of life. I'm actually doing a product design degree, but my dissertation is not so much about designing new products but about designing new out of old.
I thought looking at allotments would be ideal but I'm also interested to creative transformation of objects in general!
Let me know if you do it with anything! In the home or out of it!

Thanks
Rose aka spaceclanger

I often convert banknotes into hangovers if that counts.  ;D

After such a poor joke, I guess I have to fill in your questionnaire now.

I've got the questionnaire but it could be a few days, I've got a bad stomach bug and coping with school is a right strain.

Good luck Robert - just think if you were a kid you'd be having a few days off!  :P  Not the same for us teachers though - we have to go in whatever.  It's no wonder we pray for snow is it?

Me and all, though it mostly seems to be plants into slugs.
For myself I am an optimist - it does not seem to be much use being anything else.

Huddling in half a shed against the cold and the damp. No, really just made myself stop spending hours a day on the forums! :) Good to be back though ;D

Ey up Bupster!  Where's tha bin?  Glad to see you're back  :)
Hours of fun in the classroom with that gag.  Hide bin in the cupboard, kid go 'wheres the bin'  and I say 'I haven't bin anywhere'  On it goes, can get though an entire afternoon like that.

PS for all those that think I am skiving, I am on P(lanning)P(reparation)A(ssessment) time and I am.  ;D  I prefer to call it Pub, Park and Afternoon nap.
