Build it yourself wheeled tiller/rotovator/cultivator???
« on: November 18, 2005, 09:45:36 »
Hi everyone,

I have already made a wheeled hoe which is wonderful for taking the tops off of weeds on my plot.

I am now looking to make my own push/wheeled tiller/rotovator/cultivator - I am not looking for anything with an engine - dont mind a bit of manual work.

Does anyone know of any plans / sites where I can get information on how to make my own?

My plot is only 100ft by 20ft - so I dont mind pushing my own device up and down to break up the top soil.

Any help would be appreciated.

I saw plans somewhere but can't find them now.

Thought these might be of interest to those who have not yet diy'd their own hoe.

I wouldnt be without my wheeled hoe - although in this wet weather its not so much use... cost me £20 with the help of a local blacksmith - a bargain considering the time it saves me!
