What to Grow Next Season? (Choices Made)
« on: November 16, 2005, 18:25:08 »
I have just been looking through Kings and Dobies seed catalogues and comparing prices etc with a view to ordering next year.
I also have some new packets of seeds and some opened left over packets too.
I am ordering only two types of seeds from Dobies. Sungold F1 Tomatoes @ £2.45 for 10 seeds and Maestro Carrots @ £1.70 for 660 seeds.
Sungold Tomatoes are really tasty, but I am unsure of Maestro carrots.
They offer resistance to Carrot Fly etc and are really well thought of in the catalogue, but has anyone else grown these?
More to add to this post later....Tea is ready!!!

I'm back...I have selected...

I haven't ordered the seeds yet, but already have the seeds for the pumpkin and Gardeners Delight tomatoes.
I will be open for swapsies. I already have some P.S. Broccoli seeds so I can send you some nearer the season if you like.

John :)

I grew both white lisbon and ishikura spring onions last year but I'll only be gowing Ishikura this year. They're still standing happily from the Summer.

my white lisbon did kind of germinate (quite sporadically) then gave up the ghost when they were about 5 inches high!
