I thought about decorating my garden with "jewellery" next summer. So I made this prototype "pea" . I've seen these on the internet and thought I would have a go. You can make birdfeeders, tealight holders, birds, veggies etc.

Be kind, but what do you think for my first go? The little "pea" to one side
is the one knocking to get in (as they on my lotties when folks talk
about the number of peas per pod :)

You're quite clever really, aren't you Wards!! It's lovely!! And of course it's pea, and it's a gorgeous pea at that!! I have bits and bobs in my garden, a few candles, erm weird bottles? Anything that takes my fancy really, but have a feeling more could soon be added when I've checked out website!! Though they're all hidden by weeds at the min!! ::) ::) ::)

I actually thought it was a dragonfly but when I looked again realised it could only be a pea knocking to get in !!

But don't panic cos I think that says more about me than you cos it doesn't look anything like a dragonfly now!!! ;D

Yep, frying pan in one hand and pliers in the other. Voila! Delilah dragonfly and wasp, butterfly and bird will be up next but I need to buy wire. Some niece of mine has been making necklaces :)

Wardy. As others have said real talent I would be useless at anything like that. Must show daughter-in-law. BTW it really is sad that you haven't got the talent to train Russ LOL LOL ::) ::) ::)

Eeeeeee Wardy thats lovely that is! Would love it in my garden. Would make gorgeous markers if on a long bit of metal. Can't wait to see your next creations. I think glittery shiney thingies look ever so nice in a garden. I had a dragonfly over my little pond but it's wings dropped off so now it's a huge pair of eyes on a long thin bit of wire. I haven't moved it,I've left it lurking in some grasses.

I'm planning wasp next as I have amber and black glass beads. Will go off and get creative. My niece has nicked me wire to make "razzing" necklaces ;D

You can get wire from Hobby Craft, Focus (I think) and on line. I've got no wire left so can only plan til I get more supplies. I want to make some hanging decorations for lotty, eg bird feeder or tea light thingy :)

Wardy, we are going to have ornate plots next year! 8)
This could be just the craft I am looking for, used to do stained glass, but have never been able to afford the grinder, and the rest of the equipment since we moved back, could play with glass without cut and burnt fingers this way! ;)
