Please - when selling, it says that you can get your payment by PayPal e-mail. How do you cash an e-mail??
I need to sell my camera.

Pay pal provide a holding account in your name.
You can credit your account if you wish from your bank account or credit card.
Payments to you are put into this holding account to fund further purchases or have you can have it transferred in to a bank account of your choice but this can take upto 7 days.
You will also pay a fee for this if the amount you want transferred is
under
£50.
Transactions are carried out by a your
pay-pal email address
and you are notified of payment to your account by e-mail hence payment by payment by e-maill

Thanks, Trav - I do have a dormant account, so there should be no problem.

THe other option though is to request receipt of payment before posting the item or collection. I have done both although normally for big items. I sold two cars on e-bay.

Always get your payment before posting your item...
I have sold and bought many items from 20p to £200 and always insist on receiving payment before posting a item and i would not expect a item to be sent to me without the seller getting the payment first.
This is the case with either pay-pal or cheque payments.....

How do you set that up, Trav? I find the whole thing rather daunting.

Tim, in e-bay you will find a link to Paypal. Go to that and just follow the instructions to set up an account.
The link to the relevant page as described above is below.
