Digging find
« on: October 29, 2005, 16:20:45 »
While digging over the plot this morning, I kept uncovering bundles of small orange eggs about 2mm in diameter, any ideas what these are??

Thanks
David

Probably slugs although they are mostly opaque could be from the big orange slugs.

I spent an enjoyable yet tiring 5 hours today digging the lottie. I was kept company by a beautiful Robin who has claimed my lottie as his personal territory. He loved it when I uncovered Slug Eggs and was hopping around by my feet to guzzle them....mmmmmmm  :D

have you ever tried using slug eggs as fishing bait?  I know you can use ant eggs to feed goldfish.

I'm an old fashioned "dry fly" fisherman...no bait for me ;D
