A whale was idly swimming through the ocean, taking a bite here, another there. Suddenly he came upon a squid. The squid held up a couple of tentacles to stop the whale in mid swim and said :
"Please Mr Whale, please don't eat me today. I'm not feeling very well"
The whale took pity on the squid and said :
"I won't eat you, instead I'll give you a lift. Jump onto my back and we'll swim together".
This the squid did, and the whale continued on his way with the squid clinging to his back. After a while, they came upon an undersea cliff with a cave. The cave had a large rock in front of it as a door. The whale knocked on the "door", which was soon opened by the occupant, a very large shark.
"Hello Mr Shark", said the whale "I've brought you that sick squid I owe you".
(Get it? If you say if quickly, it sounds like six quid).
This joke cost me 10p, so enjoy it as I had to.
