MAKEOVER FAILS - NEWS FLASH
« on: September 28, 2003, 16:50:40 »
An ambitious attempt at a `Makeover` of the cliffs at Hartland Quay for a Friday evening T.V. programme failed this week when the TV crew were cut off by the rising tide.

A BBC spokesman said "Unfortunately the Water Feature had not been properly programmed before we tried to instal the `Decking`, and consequently the water level rose too high before we had the timber cut to size".

It is believed that another attempt to `Makeover` the cliffs will be made at a later date provided that Tommy and Charley are prepared to join the team as advisors.

Friday`s Telegraph showed pictures of A.T. in person scrambling over the cliffs for help, with (bottom left) t.v.crew marooned at foot of cliff.  There was some c*ck & bull yarn about a Nature programme, but WE know what he was there for, dont we?
