Hello Jethro!

Welcome to the board! Yes, we are all mad and it sounds like you'll settle in just fine!

Watch out for Hugh's tales in the shed folder - very amusing!

Best wishes,
Claire

Who says I'm mad  :o, just because I was all alone on the lottie this morning with my flask of steaming hot coffee, standing in the rain, surveying all that is mine with a grin  ;D, yes you guessed it, from ear to ear, looking at the weeds and the falling leaves, with that fresh rain on dry mud kinda smell wafting up my nose - happy as a pig in s**t!  Me mad......never...... ;D ;D

Mad? How can you say that. Yes - devotion, determination, dividends, disasters, desperation, double digging, doubt, decision, DELIGHT.....................

Mad? NO, just DELIRIUM? - Tim

Hi Alishka, the reason i use jethro is that i'm totally mad about a group called 'Jethro Tull' ;D (showing my age now) also it seems apt don't you think as he invented the seed drill ( not the group of course). Where is the wildlife board ??? i've looked everywhere and can't find it :-/ but that could be just me being stupid :'( but it would help if someone could direct me in the right place.

Jethro, go to the main page where all the various forums are listed..Wildlife Forum is beneath non-edible plants.Alternatively, scroll down this page & there's a drop-down menu of the Forums you can use. Do hope you can come up with a suggestion of my UFB. I've trawled and trawled the 2 sites, looked at so many pictures, rushed to the window just in case the bird returned...and, suddenly I realise that I've lots of other things to do..

(So why am I here? ah well, back to the slog..) - Lishka

oops, cancel last message i've found everything :P i.e. wildlife board etc, just me being lazy as usual.
Colin, sorry the only jokes i can tell are to say the least a bit on the raunchy side and i don't know if Dan would let me loose on this site.
Why are people complaning about the lack of rain :-/ try living up here in the North East (Durham)  :P  you don't need a lottie just a paddy field and a bullock to plough it, and good waterproofs. One consolation is that at least the rice grows if nothing else :). I'm thinking of changing the lottie into a water garden and cultivate khoi carp it would be much easier :o.
