Hi Oz can fully understand the mounting excitement.
The rugby starts just after my last OU exam, so will be able to enjoy England's triumphs guilt-free!! :P

Oh no! That's terrible!!

I remember when we first came back to the UK....young son, Pride of England (or certainly his Mum) was enrolled at a Malvern School & playing rugby..and I bought a Book of Rules + a large-screen colour TV...

And watched the Oxford/Cambridge match. In all its gory technicolour.

And really, really didn't want this....

Bunch of public school types. I played t'other Rugby, a man's game and I am proud to say I was a hooker. Mind I also played RU in Wales for my school (when they needed a RL thug that is). Still quite enjoyed watching a certain J Davies turn out for Widnes.
(Did you know you can write tongue in cheek but you cannot speak that way. It hurts when you bite your tongue.)

In my school days I used to be a quite successful front row forward.  As soon as we got our heads down in the scrum I used to tell the one about the young man and the sailor, and while the opposing front row were falling about laughing we nicked the ball.

(No. I can`t tell it on this board)

Ah ha! Somewhere I can get excited about the rugby!! All my colleagues are not really that type and think it's very odd for a girl to be interestied and are very bored of me talking about it.  Have lots of Aussie (or Ozzie?!) friends as well as some Kiwis and South African cousins so competition going to get very heated!!
Know some of you chaps won't appreciate this, but the only consolation if England lose out is that I could take the lovely Jonny Wilkinson home and comfort him!! ;)

Well, have had the dates of all the games in the diary since the summer! Have slightly different predictions (related to having been in Ireland for the last game of the 6 Nations this year  ;) ;D) We'll see!!
Will enjoy seeing some good games either way!

Being of Welsh descent, not going to be watching any of it.  (Have they put the joke teams in so we can't even win the wooden spoon?) Anyway the Kiwis are going to walk it.....

Having a good laugh at the England football team staging a walkout so they don't get kicked to death by the Turks! Bet they wished they had Robbie Savage on their side for that one!
