"Pictures of Interest" - not sure that this
is
of interest. But where else?
"Early" peppers. Sunnybrook. Not started till 16/4 so first
real
pick today might be called
early
?? They are 'apple' size.

Tim They look beautiful. What are they destined to become? Or will you just eat them as they are. I bet they're sweet

They look scrummy. I think you should stuff and roast them as that is one of my fave ways with red peppers.

The best ones are de-seeded & frozen whole for stuffing.
Some are roasted, skinned & frozen. The smaller ones go for salads or pickle or frittata or pasta or Ratatouille.
Oh, forgot Chinese & Creole & casseroles and.....................!

I knew you'd be putting them to good use Tim. They look so good you could eat them off the page
My green ones aren't doing bad at all but seem slow growing so I only seem to have one on at any one time

3 1/2. There are 4, but one's not doing too well! They are about 3' tall. And there are 10-15 same sized
green
ones on each plant waiting to ripen. Live in hope??
We've been picking the odd one or two for a few weeks, but that was the first
real
pick.
The others - Romanov - are only just starting to colour.

Were they in an unheated g/hse ? And any special treatment required? My G/hse is tiny, 6x4, andI am not very organised to get the best out of it. The shelving is very limited and it is not really in an ideal position. I would be dead chuffed to grow peppers. Any hints for a green house novice Tim?

So sorry that I missed that, Baggy. In a wee 'house, you could try Redskin - a 'container-suited variety' - or, say, Sunnybrook - Vida Verde - which gives a smallish plant. Just treat like toms - nothing special.
