Wallflower Sale
« on: October 08, 2005, 10:43:06 »
I shouldn't be on here - I should be in town selling wallflowers, grown on our community allotment, all 10,000 of them.  We sell em every year to raise funds for the town's floral displays over the winter .
I'd better get going as they're standing for newspaper and carriers  :)

What a good idea Wardy. I wish I lived near you as I can't find any bare root wallflowers at all. It seems to be dying out where I live, and they just come in cell packs at a much higher price. Are they easy to germinate and grow, as I am definitely going to do it next year?Any recommendations as to variety? I hope you raised lots of money. Our council does what yours does!
