Butternut
« on: September 02, 2005, 16:06:34 »
These three butternuts were on one plant, the other plant has more fruit but still a little smaller. Very pleased with these, just leaving them in the sun to ripen a little. Grown from saved seed from a shop bought butternut. They're a nice shape as well, lots of flesh and not too much seed.

I've spotted a minute butternut at last  :)  Yours look wonderful and I bet they'll be lovely.  Have you seen how much they cost in the shops  :o   The good news is that they are very nutritious too  :)

I have a healthy looking butternut plant which has

produced flowers but no fruit yet.

Is there still time?
