Watermelons
« on: August 03, 2005, 16:41:50 »
To anyone who's successfully grown watermelons before, how do you know if they've been pollinated?

I've far too many fruitlets on mine + want to pick some off, but they're all the same size + don't want to end up picking off all the pollinated + leaving those that will eventually drop off as they're not.

Help appreciated

Never grown them before but expect they are similar to other melons. I think that the simplest thing to do is wait a week or so and see which ones swell. They'll be the pollinated ones I guess.
