This lily waited to come into bloom until I got back home from my holidays.   ;D

Awwww, bless him.  Mine always do their thing whilst my back is turned!  I have lilies just opened and am always amazed by the strong scent.  Lovely photo!  ;D

Thanks everyone.  It smells heavenly as well as looking good doesn't it?  This year the stems are getting on for 4 feet tall and they are only in a pot!   But it's been very breezy here today and I'm terrified the whole thing is going to go flying.   ::)

Fab!  I have lillies in a pot, apricot coloured ones, and they are also very tall this year!  Good year maybe??  It has gone over once, but I am glad to say, no damage.
