Grapevine
« on: June 30, 2005, 22:38:44 »
I started on an allotment in April and I was lucky enough to inherit a graevine in thegreenhouse. Now it is doing well and I have been cutting the foliage back but it has some powdery mildew, I was wondering if anyone knew of anything that I can spray it with. Everything i find is not suitable for edible crops.
I am new to gardening and am very pleased anything is growing.  :)

You could try:

(a) milk diluted 1 - 10 with water

(b) urine at similar dilution

(c) bicarbonate of soda at 2 teaspoons per litre of water

Whichever you use clean your sprayer thoroughly afterwards.
