Blooming marvellous!
« on: January 12, 2004, 11:00:45 »
The Crosuses in a tub on my front porch are starting to flower! :D And I seem to have accidentally forced my rhubbarb - I put a bamboo screen over the veg patch to stop the cats using it and now I have rhubbarb pushing up!  :D

I still get so happy when spring is on it's way!

So is your garden growing yet?

yay for the spring!  Bulbs up everywhere - didn't remember having this many last year!  Mind you, no colour yet, but boy my garden is WET!  All of the perennials are starting to push new shoots through, which I love, they all look so fat and healthy and kinda crunchy!  And I know spring is in the air, I have weeds popping up!   ;D

I swear the weed fairy has been sprinkling her rotten little seeds all over my garden  >:( - thought I was going to get away with weeding for a few weeks yet - no such luck  :'( :'( and I swear my grass is starting to grow! So many bulbs popping up that the garden is going to be a blaze of colour soon - loverly!  ;D  Most of my shrubs  and trees are budded up and ready to burst open. Even got catkins on my contorted hazels  8) Cheers Eileen.

I haven't even checked for weeds yet. Well didn't notice any on saturday anyway.

I miss my garden. I only see it at weekends. It's dark when I leave for work in the morning and even darker when I return in the evening.  :-/
