Damson Tree
« on: June 24, 2005, 12:44:17 »
I bought a bare rooted Damson tree in Feb, planted it in the ground and kept in watered in the dry spells, but it still hasn't got any buds or leaves, if you scrap the coating off the stems, they are green underneath.

Should I give up and pull it up or leave it???

Wow, tis late not to have any leaves on it at all.  The ones around here aleady have fruitlets on them!  If you don't need the space, then I guess leave it, but can you get your money back on it and get a replacement??

Thats what I thought, but I was kind of hoping someone might tell me that they can lie dormant for a year and spring into life the following year. A tall order I know.

I guess I'll have to buy another one!! :'(
