Just softly squidge every leaf, top & bottom, every morning & they'll give up.

If you really get stuck,  try fatty acids.

Spitfire - cool!  I know enough to tell it is not a Lancaster bomber, but that's my limit really.   ;)  Used to go to air shows with my pa, so I should know more.  ::)  My favourite at those things was always the Vulcan bomber, a 50's plane (??).  They make an unholy racket - look stealthy, but sound like thunder.  I suppose that made an impression on me.   ;D  Those air shows were all at RAF Valley, we used to holiday nearby.  I guess Biggin Hill is my nearest now.

Being a pilot in the 40's was a very dangerous occupation, Tim.  You have my respect.  Still, must have been a privilege to fly such a beautiful plane.   8)

We had a lancaster fly over the house the other day................kids ran for the hills! Made me realise how scarey it must have been, the whole house shook! quite apt though as they had been to the imperial war musuem the day before!

my dad was a "tail end charlie" in a lancaster in the war so he an me are lucky to be alive.   A tv program described the bombings as a terroist act some years ago.  It gave him sleepless nights.   At 79 yrs old this is not good repayment for someone who risked his life.    I have told him, he is my hero and every time I see a Lancaster  I think this.

Tim you would love it up this neck of the woods then theres a museum of
flight bout a mile from me its centre piece is a concorde but the museum
itself is situated in an airfield that was used during the war. It has about
  90% of original buildings too.   ;D ;D

Charlotte

There's a Vulcan Bomber at Bruntingthorpe Aerodrome in Leicestershire.. The Aerodrome has just become a Heritage Centre and I believe they will soon be flying the Vulcan again.
The art group I belong to are visiting this Sunday for a sketching/painting session

Hey Derek

Does the heritage centre have a web site yet?  I have friends in Loughborough (from my Uni daze) so there is every possibility I might get to it at some point. Vulcan bombers rock!
