Here in Lincoln we were hoping fervently for rain - but it never came - all got dumped on the moors first.

must have just missed you Redclanger - we had a huge storm and torrential rain on Sunday evening. We're a bit worried about how our newly planted stuff will have stood up to it but didn't get to check it yesterday so going to check out the damage this afternoon...

I know how you feel legless.  Such an onslaught on Sunday it is difficult to believe any of the delicates could survive.  I think it all depends on the situation of your plot and how well drained it is.  We were amazed when we went up to ours yesterday and saw things looking quite perky despite  our plot being submerged on Sunday, so I'm crossing fingers everything is okay for you.   :) busy_lizzie
