OOOO I had visions of showing you all a Male Osprey tonight or even a Red Squirrel, but guess what, the d**n camera batteries went capoot. We left for beautiful Perthshire today test driving a zooped up sports car and for me to see the Ospreys nesting at Loch o the Lowes.
Well I saw the female Osprey sitting on 2 eggs and saw the Male sitting on a tree. Got the camera out and zzzzzzzzzzt off. Hubby had his camera, but not his digi camera. Oh heck what a disappointment. We sat and watched the Ospreys but because it was raining they didnt move until we left LOL.
Outisde the Visitor Centre they feed the birds with numerous hanging feeders, fat balls and peanuts abound. The Red Squirrel was there along with loads of different garden birds. A perfect non picture was the Squirrel eating nuts alonside a Greater spotted woodpecker and a pair of mallards underneath on the ground. Now when am I going to see that again. Arrrrrrrrrrrr.
