My garden
« on: June 12, 2005, 13:14:46 »
Hello!

Well, with a little help I have finished gravelling in my flower garden.  It is finally looking like a proper garden!  I still have a lot of home-grown bedding plants to go out, so it should get even flowerier, but even so far with the roses starting to bloom I am very pleased!  The valerian btw, I grew from seed last year.  It is very tall, I didn't expect that, but hey-ho, it looks nice anyhow.  ;D

View from the back door.

View from the lawn.

Overview from bedroom window.  You can tell the gardener is arthritic - too tired to put away the hosepipe before taking the pictures. LOL.  ::)

Absolutely gorgeous Charlotte.
Lovely garden.
Couldn't upload to that mp3 site. I even texted Chris, but no joy. I think he gave up on me? As far as administraters, in my humble opinion. Dan's the man.
Thanks for the feedback on the songs. Don't get me wrong..I loved every minute of the sessions.
Your songs are growing on me..is it the season?
;D ;D ;D ;D

Fabulous!  Love looking at other peoples gardens and seeing what they do with their patch of mother earth.  It is a good size garden and loads of colour already!  Like the edging and would really like something to edge my beds to make mowing a bit easier, but worry about the kids doing themselves a mischeif!  Pesky sproggles interferring with my gardening!  ;) ;) ;) ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D

Thanks for the kind words, everyone!  ;D ;D ;D

The edging (bricks) is more out of necessity - we are totally skint.  I'd prefer some half-sunk rockery stones, but hey - the bricks are OK.  And very very cheap (ie. FREE!).  They'll do for now.

Just love valerian.

And had you not been 'skint', I would have suggested a coil hose - no putting away. Nothing heavy. But slow output.

On my wish list - along with wheelbarrow, more link-a-bord, fleece and a couple of agaves.  ;)

And HOW have I already run out of beanpoles?!!!  ::)

Just spotted this. Couldn'see your rosemary hedge! Seriously it looks lovely. This is a bit like going round yellow book gardens without leaving the house. Excellent for when it is raining.
