i sowed parsnip seed at the allotment,but as soon as they appeared they dissappeared,birds i guess can you sow into cells and transplant at a later date when they have some size on them?

dont think its possible, unless the cells are really long. Once you stop/damage/break the taproot, it turns into a parsnip hand!

:( Mine are just showing after a few weeks in the ground, Hope I don't lose mine :( perhaps a little fleece wouldn't go amiss ???
