Topic: Plots near Warrington side of M62?

Just curious really, I drive along that part of the motorway sometimes and this year have seen a new site created, lots seems to be going on and they look like they have been there for ever now. Just wondered if anyone here has one?

We drive past them on the way to visit our daughter. I don't know how big they are but I heard that the charge is £200 per year.

The plots are on Glazebrook lane Glazebrook, it is the road that links the A57 with Culcheth. It used to be a garden centre, the prices vary depending on facilities I have been told the average plot is £10 per week.

Hi i have an allotment on this site. The weekly rent is £5. The site owner is a very friendly guy & is very helpful. It was fully occupied when he first started the allotments but some people have given up their plots over winter & i think that there are currently some plots available for rent.

There is a rumour that the site was once covered in Japanese Knotweed, cleared and left for a while b4 being allotmentised. How true ? Dont know. Could anyone clear the rumour.
