Not a drop of that wet stuff today..nice for change and even the sun has peeked out at times.. ;D
Sadly the ground is far too wet to be able to work with it yet..but if it keeps dry until tomorrow, fingers crossed and I'll be doing something out there in a great wildenerness.. ::)..lot of 'taming' needs doing.. ::)

I dont think it has stopped raining here in Dorchester since 1600hrs (4pm) yesterday. that is now 25 hours of rainfall!!! :o :o :o

I could be wrong but i don't think there was much advance warning of all this rain for the south west was there? a few days ago the weather for today was going to be sunshine and showers!

Another wet day indoors with no gardening done. At least i had the Tour de France to watch on TV.

There was plenty warning of the bad weather approaching the South West over the last few days. There was an amber alert on it which then went to Red Alert yesterday. I knew anyway that you were going to get it last night.
I feel for you all down there. We had 35mm in the village overnight and our river is very high but that is nothing compared to the rain that fell elsewhere.
