bad MV.

There - how's that for a telling off?!

Do you have any room left? I'm already trying to work out where I can squeeze one more plant in. And secretly hoping a few won't make it so I have more room for other things!

I think I need telling off again! Popped into Woolworths and well, they have reduced the veggie seeds - I only got 2 packets of Bunyards Exhibition broad bean, which according to the packet, I can still sow in May, as well as in the autumn. I was wanting autumn sowing beans anyway - now I don't have to rush seed orders in the autumn from the seed catalogues (probably ogc, tuckers, and maybe T&M).

I went mad tonight and bought 8 packets of seeds from lidl.  2 x yellow bean, kohl rabi (will be after tips soon), chard, chinese leaf, cucumber and two others that I can't remember right now but obviously needed at the time.  29p each pack !  Woohoo what a snip.  OH was not impressed.  Doesnt understand these things.

Baggy   My 29 p Lidl french marigolds are the best looking plants from seed I've grown.  I sowed  two trays and there are loads of seeds left in the packet  Smiley

Multiveg   Someone has given me some Bunyard's Exhibition plants and they look very good and strong.  Good luck with yours  Smiley

The other two were white early cabbage and meteor peas.  Me likes a bargain.  They also had melon and pumpkin seeds but OH was dragging me screaming from the shop.

It was in Woollies for £2.99, however, last night, did a Morrisons shop when they were only £1.69? So we got 2 - said to hubby - which one of these two should we get? He said get them both!

Don't worry about squeezing in another plant.   I've filled all available space around the edge of my back yard & have now started going up the house walls, garden fence & garage.  Why look at brick when a nice trailing lobelia or petunia is soooooooo much more interesting.   Mixed trailing fuschias hide old wooden fence panels.

Every time my parents visit my mum grumbles that she can't move because there's "another bloody triffid" in the way.  The best part is watching the dog sidle across the yard & eying up all the plants in case one of them decides to attack him!!!

Give it a month or two & the yard will transformed into a riot of colour and perfumes & I'll be the envy of all my neighbours

Multiveg don't go on eBay and when you get there don't type in vegetable seed on the search thingy or your credit card will do a runner.
