Have discovered our site is land left by deed of covenant rather than a statutory site.  Does this make it more or less secure from developers?

Hiya  Cheesy

IMHO it is less secure, which doesn't mean much with this new Secretary of State shambles.

A neat little law site for readability is  http://www.kevinboone.com/lawglos_covenant.html

whether developers could get hold of it would depend upon who owns it and whether they are likely to sell.  Saying 'was left by deed of covenant' leaves an awful lot of questions begging, and the only way of finding out the answers to those questions is to

you guessed it

consult a lawyer (one who specialises in land law!)
