Turtle mats
« on: August 30, 2016, 18:32:19 »
Has anyone here ever washed a "Turtle" mat in their washing machine? Their website says they are machine washable but then warns about checking filters and checking weight limits for the machine,so I'm a bit scared to risk it!

We have washed them many times.  No problem with our Bosch machine in the UK.  But with our much cheaper one in France, they started to split at the end.  They were replaced no problem, but when it happened again, we rather thought it was more the problem of our cheap washing machine, and din't complain.  They are a nice firm to deal with.  The mats are excellent and well worth having.  We used to have one in the house and one in the caravan awning.  Now we just have them in the house, on the tile floors, in front of the exterior doors.

Washed mine loads of times with no problem. A fluff up in the tumble drier helps as well to get the pile  up. Though we peg out first to save leccy!
