goodlife???
« on: February 03, 2016, 17:41:53 »
Have I missed something? I always enjoy goodlife's posts, but there have not been any for several months that I can find. I think her last one was in July last year.

I've missed her too and read somewhere that she is taking a rest from A4ll. Maybe she is lurking and will pop in to say hello?

Partly I suddenly remembered because I sent her some Allium triquetum, a terrible spreading weed which is v useful at this time of year because its sprightly green leaves pop up in December and can be chopped into everything for a flavour of garlic and freshness, and I have been hauling it out of the gravel for several weeks, hoping hers is doing well (not too well......)

It's been great to welcome Star back and also Hector and Sunloving.  Yes, life's priorities can change or there are huge demands on somebody's time and energy that leave little time for chatting, but it is so good to catch up and it really does not matter if somebody had to scale down or even give up their gardening due to ill-health,  or if they had to move and lost their allotment.  The A4A community is a bit special in this respetc.  There is always a place on the bench for old friends.

I was looking at my perennial kale the other day and thinking of her.  Someone also had a question about perennial veg and she did not answer.

Lets hope all is well with her.  Perhaps if we all think about her she may respond.

Agree do miss goodlife but A4A does welcome old friends like a warm blanket :) and there is a certain ebb and flow here where people do disappear for a while but we normally return :)

Hector, I was saddened to hear a little about what you and your family had to go through recently.  Hope your daughter is managing to adjust.  Can't be easy.

Very glad to have you back and posting.  Hug for you

Hope that you and your daughter are coming to terms with events now. I have kept in touch with goodlife through another shared passion and she is alright, just a change in emphasis at present.
It's good that we care so much on here.

When I've been sorting through my seed stash I've been thinking about goodlife as I've still got some of her really interesting beans from our Birmingham meet up day in 2013? Hope to finally plant them this year. It's good to be back amongst old friends x sun loving

Maybe PKL has passed on the message that there is a pm waiting?  Pauline, are you still in contact with Gazza1960?  He hasn't been around much recently and is missed.
