cuttings swap (soft fruit etc.)
« on: February 03, 2016, 13:16:18 »
Would there be interest to do a cuttings swap this autumn?
I'm asking now because it would be best to take the cuttings over the course of the year, root them and then swap them later.
I was thinking primarily of soft fruit, but if there are people who want to swap scions or whatever that could be included as well.
If the cuttings are less than 60 cm, they could be swapped through the mail.

I shall have up to 30 different kinds of grapevine available in the autumn if that is of interest, either to yourself or any other A4Aers. By then there will be a good number of rooted varieties and others will be bare wood for your own propagation taken from next years prunings. (this years pruning is already done).

The only soft fruit I shall have is jostaberry if more than one roots hopefully. Six cuttings have been taken but I only need one so any others will be spare.

Cheers. :happy7:
