Flower identification

Was visiting an elderly friend last night and she had some flowers she received for her birthday but one of the flowers she did not recognise and wondered what it might be .. ??

Looks to me like Eustoma sometimes also called Lisianthus.

Popular in bouquets because they last a long time.

I have tried several times to grow them from seeds and got nothing.
