No Plaits just bunches

well having spent a lifetime without plaiting anything it didn't work as planned so bunches of Onions it was .....

.....still fun to have our hardwork hanging in the kitchen!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a youtube film of how to plait onions here.  Much easier if you worn plaits to school as a child.

Thank you for the vid it made it simpler,I will try it as I recall doing a plait loaf and that worked,I'll just practice on Jude and mum.

Or ask them to do the plaits  :toothy10:  The video does it just like I tried to describe.  But it just doesn't matter as long as the onions are to hand.

By the way, HDRA/GO have researched the best way of storing onions and came up with the interesting finding that  b o t h  cool and dry and damp and warm are good ways for storing.  But not cool and damp or dry and warm.  So a warm, steamy kitchen is as good as a cold, dry garage.   :wave:
