Hi all, not been on much for a while
I moved house 4 weeks ago
Put my name down for a new lottie
I was offered and accepted and have started digging a plot at the end of my road within 2 weeks

That is good news but I have this feeling you chose the new house because there was a plot available nearby lols

That's worked out very nicely, Kev.  Congrats and a good start with the new home and plot.   :sunny:

Does that mean you will supervise the early potato growing again next year?   :tongue3:

Cheers all, your half right davey, the 7 minute walk to the train station was the main reason but the missus did point out the plot was a 5 minute walk the other way, but the extra bedroom sort of sold it the first time we looked at it.
Yes Galina, Cornys early spud challenge will be back on the card.
Johhnys it's great to walk up the high road and see all them Spurs shirts proudly worn, just like they used to be 20+ years ago.  :icon_cheers:    :blob7:

I thought that there was a very long wait in London for plots. Glad you got one quickly  :icon_cheers:

We often stay at the Theobalds caravan park over by the Spurs training grounds when we are heading back down after visiting the frozen wastelands of the north. Is your lottie on the way to the Cheshunt swamp lake

Yes pumpkin very quickly, we've  moved just outside London.
Theobalds is not very far from us, there are a few lakes around us, there's one that the train goes past thats the one your proberly talking about Ace
Been digging over a bit at a time about a quarter of the way so far.   :tongue3:

Who will be left in Enfield B, where are you thinking of moving to. I got a plot within weeks of moving here and I'm about 3/5s of the way through digging it finding some small onions and plenty of red spuds.   :tongue3:

Good progress.  Clearly a plot that was worked very recently.  Nice to take something home too.  What are the lottie neighbours like?

Yes Galina other plot holders have said that the plot was well dug with plenty of manure
And yes the plot holders are very friendly, plenty telling me that I'm doing a great job, I think they think I'm a newbie
Still finding plenty of spuds and I've nearly dug as far as I can without disturbing the spuds that are set.
