Wilko's seed potatoes
« on: February 01, 2015, 16:17:33 »
Went to Wilko yesterday for seed potatoes . their 2.5kg bags were £2.50. They also had loose ones where a large bag was £4.50. This looked like far worse value to me given the size of the bags. I wanted Charlotte and they only had them loose, so I didn't bother. Has anyone else bought the loose ones?

never bought loose ones but there a small pot so you should get 10/11 to a 3metre row so you would only have to buy the correct amount you need rather than what i do and end up with a row of mix and match lol
johhnyc015  may the plot be with you

Having trawled around some of the usual websites today it looks as if potatoes are more expensive this year generally. Kings want £5.55 for 2.5kg of Charlotte- plus P&P !!
