Aldi blackcurrants and goosegogs
« on: February 01, 2015, 12:30:28 »
Yesterday bought some blackcurrants en nevis and gooseberry hinnamaki red, three for 2.29.

Good bargain, no idea where I am going to put them.  Running out of space.

I've just got back from Aldi. goosgogs, red currants, black currants and raspberries. Now I'll have to build a fruit cage on the lottie. Also got a plum tree to fill an empty space in the orchard. they certainly are good value. I thought I would get 3 of each and started loading the trolley up. then I noticed there was 3 in each packet.

Just as I was typing this a neighbour knocked and asked me if I wanted some small fruit bushes he was digging out of his garden. Oh well, might as well stick them in as well they have two chances.

Not sure I would recommend their raspberries.
