I went to the Marty Wilde Rock 'n Roll Party in Salisbury last night. It was fab. Marty's voice is still as good as ever though he does look as though he has quite bad arthritis, but then he is 75. I still felt that teenage thrill when he walked on stage though. Eden Kane and John Leyton were good too though their voices were not quite up to Marty's standard but then they are older than him. If they are coming your way, I really recommend you go and see them....... that is if you were a Marty fan in the 50's and 60's. He still has charisma.
