The bed is in full flower with fruit forming well. The forecast is, however, pretty poor so the crop may fail. Hey Ho!

I think I also would cover them particularly at night. Even a few plants in plastic bottles might do the trick. Though mine are desperate for water. My MIL used to put her strawberries into jam jars and plug up the neck with straw or newspaper. You need to make sure they are sloping downwards so the water does not get in.
What variety are they? I am really wanting strawberries now.
